Phulah is an Associate and leads the team at Your Immigration Lawyer. He studied Law at the University of Stirling, graduating with honours. After completing his Diploma, Phulah started his traineeship with a well-established Glasgow criminal firm in 2013 and became a qualified solicitor in 2015.

Phulah followed his passion for human rights and began to work with one of the leading specialist immigration law firms in Glasgow dealing with a variety of cases, including asylum, humanitarian protection and refugee family reunion, before joining Your Immigration Lawyer.

Phulah currently deals with various complex immigration and asylum matters focusing on judicial review proceedings and appeals to the Court of Session.

Katie is a solicitor at Your Immigration Lawyer, having joined the firm in January 2019. Katie studied for joint honours in History and Journalism Studies prior to studying law, graduating with a distinction. Katie thereafter completed her Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow.

Katie has solely worked in the Immigration, Asylum and Human Rights sector where she has gained valuable experience. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Katie has worked for busy immigration firms in Glasgow.

Katie enjoys all aspects of Asylum, Human Rights and Immigration law but has a keen interest in assisting vulnerable women and children and in particular, gender based violence and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Katie currently deals with complex Asylum and Immigration cases in both the First-tier and Upper Tribunals.

Daniah is a second-year trainee solicitor who has graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a Dual LLB (Hons) in Scottish and English Law. After graduating, Daniah has worked in an Asylum & Immigration Law firm in Glasgow for several years where she has greatly contributed for the firm to flourish. Also, Daniah had the opportunity to solely work closely with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. During the Pandemic of Covid-19, Daniah has decided to complete her Diploma degree, whilst still working with the Asylum & Immigration Law firm. Daniah has then joined Jones Whyte in April 2022.

Daniah has worked with a wide range of clients, handling a variety of complex cases. Furthermore, she has worked with vulnerable clients, as well as dealing with business immigration clients. With the current increase in immigration and the up rise of commerce in the Middle East, Daniah’s fluency in Arabic has assisted in communicating with clients without barriers of communication.

Daniah truly enjoys working in the area of Asylum, Immigration and Human Rights, as that is what she is passionate about. As Daniah is a people’s person she enjoys doing a lot of community work to assist in the development of the refugees and to help them to integrate amongst the British society.

During Daniah’s spare time, she enjoys travelling around the world to learn more about different cultures and traditions as it gives her the chance to try different cuisines, she loves cooking and baking. As well as enjoying her hobby of swimming in different shores.
